I have been working in education since 1998. I have taught
fourth grade, third grade, high school, fifth grade, fourth grade, and now back in third grade. I received
my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Computer Education from Purdue
University. I have completed post graduate work at Indiana University Purdue
University at Indianapolis. I completed my Gifted Endorsement a few years ago and am ready to start the school year.
I live in Oconee County with my family. My husband, Joel, works as a Technology
Integration Specialist in Clarke County. I have one son, Evan, who will be in eighth grade, and my daughter, Aubrey, will be in sixth grade this year. Our family also consists of three dogs, Maggie, Bruce, and Josie. All five of my children keep me busy.
Outside of School
- I enjoy reading
- Watching college football. War Eagle!
- Cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats in basketball.
- Sewing
- Spending time with my family.
- Riding my bicycle.
- Walking my dogs
- Driving Aubrey to swim practice and cheering her on.
- Driving Evan to basketball practice and cheering him on.
- I grew up in Indiana, so we take trips up to see my family and enjoy the cool weather.
I can’t wait to get to know all of
you!
